In Which it finally became Sunday

Stef sent us a text message at 10:30 this morning, worried as she thought we were still asleep.

HA!

We set the alarm for 7:30, jumped out of bed full of joy de vivre ready to face the day (official lie about the joy de vivre thing). Had breakfast and walked through Chinatown and what is left of Little Italy through to Soho were we hit the shops and did a lot of looking not buying. Stef's message said she would meet us in half an hour. Knowing what Stef's haf an hour really means we continued walking and shopping and met up with the girls a full one and a half hours later.

Central Park was next on the list where we ate our lovely picnic lunch. Unfortunately there was a massive parade on and most of the park was shut off.
